2012 Backpack Project in Cooperation with Voices for Children and the Guardian Ad Litem Program

In Florida, a child is abandoned, abused or neglected every 11 minutes. Their difficult home lives put these kids at a distinct disadvantage in school and they often arrive without the necessary supplies. Coming to school without the required supplies not only deepens their feelings of being different and alone, but also puts them at an even greater educational disadvantage.

The Law Office of Christopher S. Mulligan is partnering with Voices for Children of North Central Florida to provide backpacks with back-to-school supplies to all elementary aged children being served by the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Citrus, Hernando, and Sumter counties.

As little as $30 can get an abused or neglected child in your county the right start this school year. 100 % of donations go toward providing school supplies for children.
